8th Annual KWW/CF Spring Green Charity Golf Classic and Silent Auction KWW/CF once again invites golfers, sponsors and donors to enjoy a fantastic time while helping over 1100 Wisconsin households in need keep their heat and power on!

This year’s golf classic will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at the beautiful House on the Rock Resort in Spring Green, WI.

With the need never greater, now more than ever, the Keep Wisconsin Warm/Cool Fund’s 2009 Charity Golf Classic simply must succeed if thousands of at-risk Wisconsinites are to remain in their homes.

Why? Because a declining economy, record increases in energy costs and severe weather conditions are hitting hardest the vulnerable with shrinking incomes.

KWWF needs volunteers, sponsors and donors for silent auction items to ensure another KWW/CF Golf Charity event is held. Everyone can help, from sponsors who donate $500 to $5,000 to volunteers willing to commit their time for such a worthwhile event and supporters providing items for the auction.

Thanks to the support of former Gov. Tommy Thompson, support that was expanded by Gov. Jim Doyle’s Challenge to Wisconsinites, each tax-deductible $1 contributed will be matched with $2 in available special funds. And 95 cents of each dollar raised will go directly toward helping those most in need in Wisconsin.

Donors will be recognized at the event and will also be featured in the KWW/CF newsletter and on our Web site.
